The standard is science & Engineering Practice 8: Obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information. We had to make devices that helped us survive in other planets than earth. Then, we had to debate with other teams if our teams' device would help us survive in other planets. This relates to the standard because we were able to prove and discuss about how our device can help us survive.

2. WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT?

At first, we were assigned planets. Then, we studies the planet about the strengths and weaknesses. Next, my teammates discussed making the device, and were able to make a device that helps us survive in Saturn. Finally, our teammate had a debate with another team that had the planet Venus. After debating, our team won and was able to get the extra credit.

This assignment demonstrates that I know how to research information about a specific planet and I know how to use the strengths of the planet to create a device that lets you live on the planet. It also show the strength that I know how to explain and present my device and prove that it would work.

I could have improved on this assignment by discussing more with my teammates. Some of teammates weren't able to discuss because some other teammates were kind of demanding. We could have discussed it more so we had more strengths in the debate.

This skill that I learned from this assignment can be used in the real world by using this skill to teach others. If, I become someone that involves with science, I maybe able to use this to show examples of devices that helps you sustain life on other planets.
