American Food
The American food is quite different from the Korean food. It is high in sugar and fat and loaded with processed foods. According to research (in google), the top source of calories for adults in the United States is grain-based desserts, which include cookies, cakes and doughnuts. Americans also eat a lot of bread,chicken,processed foods such as pizza, tacos and pasta dishes. Soda, energy drinks and sports drinks are also a top source of calories in the American food.
Korean food
As in other Asian countries, the basis of the South Korean food is rice and seafood because of the surrounding seas. In fact, the traditional Korean greeting "Have you eaten rice today?" is similar to saying "How are you?" in the United States. The food also contains a lot of vegetables, fish, soy and fermented vegetables known as kimchi. Korean food is known for its barbecued meats. Korean's also use a minimal amount of fat in their cooking.
