The social structure for India is also called the caste system. There are five classes for the caste system. The highest people are the Brahma which are nobles and priests. The second highest people are the Kshatriya and they are warriors. The second to the lowest is the Visayans which are the merchants. The lowest people are the shudras. There is one that is not even allowed to be in the caste system. The name is untouchables no body looks at them or even touches them. This caste system is determined by which place they were born in so the people who were born as a untouchable would be very poor. However, people who are born in Brahmins are very lucky.
